Born in the UK, I graduated from the University of Sheffield with a BA in English and Philosophy, and studied during my year abroad at Eötvös Loránd University. I then completed an MA in Comparative Literature at University College London before spending time teaching both at a private academy and in China before returning to Budapest.
At Kőrösi I am a new member of the IB team and English department, and I am glad to have so soon become a small part of such a supportive community. Though I am early in my teaching career, I look forward to a long and invested journey. I know from my own education how significant a role teachers can take in shaping student's lives and how important it is for teachers to pass on their own enthusiasm for a subject, not just its content. I aim to pass on my own enthusiasm, and turn learning for my students from a task into a pleasure, and as a pleasure, hopefully into a lifelong pursuit.
